Monday October 27, 2008
Dr Costas Kefalas will be speaking at Dunlap Hospital in Orville. Anyone interested in attending is welcome. The Akron area Celiac Support Group is meeting in the parking lot at 570 White Pond Drive between 5-5:15 that evening to carpool/caravan to Orville for the meeting. We have several new members in the support group. I hope to put them into cars with veterans, so they can get a little one on one support during the drive.

Topic: Choices: How we deal with the choices we are faced with every day
What is for dinner? Which Halloween Candy is safe? Is that gluten free?
Can I go out to eat safely or do I have to make all my own meals?
Can I send my child on a school trip?
How am I going to deal with my family at Thanksgiving?

Because this will be our last meeting before Thanksgiving we will have our
Pre-Thanksgiving Potluck Sunday...
Please bring your favorite GF main or side dish and recipe to share.**
I am looking for dinner ideas; it does not have to be a traditional Thanksgiving dish.
For those days when you are in a hurry and either do not have a lot of time or just cannot figure out what to make for dinner - I have invited Tommy's Pizza to come to this meeting. Several members have tried this pizza and have raved about it. If you have not had Tommy's GF pizza you are in for a treat!
A hot Medium 12" plain pizza sells for $11.99
The take-n-bake plain pizza is a 13" pizza and sells for $12.99, plus $1.59 per topping.
Available Toppings: Pepperoni, Sausage, Ground Beef, Ham, Bacon, Grilled Chicken, Anchovies, Mushroom, Onion, Green Pepper, Black Olive, Green Olive, Tomato, Banana Pepper, JalapeƱo Peppers, Pineapple, Salami, Cheddar Cheese, Extra Mozzarella and Provolone cheese mix.

Please let me know as soon as possible how many and what kind of pizza you want –
