GF and Allergen Free Halloween Candy List
You can go to www.surefoodsliving.com to get this list.
It has a gluten free list and a Halloween allergen list. Read the Halloween list carefully because it is an allergen list. Some of the items have wheat, but are listed as such. There are additional gluten free candies, but these are some of the favorites. As always, if in doubt, read the label.

Reserve April 26, 2009 for Northease Ohio Celiac Conference
We have reserved the Considine Building at Akron Children's Hospital for a Celiac Disease Conference, "Focus On Food" to be held Sunday, April 26, 2009. If you are interested in working on the planning committee please contact Therese at tsemonin1@neo.rr.com
We plan to hold a family oriented program divided into several different age groups. The focus will be on food so we are organizing a gluten free food fair to take place as part of this conference.
Watch for further developments.
Please note we have changed the date from Saturday to Sunday April 26, 2009. This was due to a conflict for most of the vendors.

Here is a quote from the livingwithout.com website:
From hearty breakfasts to delicious dinners, Gluten-Free Family Favorites, offers recipes to satisfy the whole family. Susan Hinderaker was prompted to create this beautiful hardcover cookbook after her two children were diagnosed with celiac disease. To save time and sanity in the kitchen, Hinderaker began making all of her family’s meals gluten free. Along with recipes, there are shopping tips and special ingredient resources, making this an indispensable guide for the gluten-free kitchen. The spiral binding allows the book to lie flat so it is easy to read and the recipe’s directions are clear and concise …No need to go hungry at any time of the day.
You may view pictures of the cookbook and place an order at amazon.com. The price has been reduced to $17.95 for affordable holiday gift giving.
Proceeds from the sale of Gluten-Free Family Favorites go to support the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Program.
